Good afternoon! Wow, it's been awhile...there just isn't enough time to do every little thing! Seems Winter is well on its way...purrty soon we will all be connected thru the Winter roads again...aint that just sweet! How time flies...life just happens sometimes without much preparation for the things that come along our way. Had to say "Good bye" to a friend of mine who has left this physical world this past week....not many people touch our lives the way my friend had an impact on me. I can't help but remember all the good times/memories we shared travelling the pow wow circuit outwest...the one I enjoyed the most was the road trip we took to Albuquerque, New Mexico. We started off with about 100 and some students signed up to go on this trip to the Gathering of Nations...when it was time to fundraise...numbers dwindled ...in the end we only had 10 of students that went down to the pow wow and Kathleen was our escort from the University. Yup, that was an awesome trip...my baby Kurtis was only three at the time and he was swimmming in an outdoor pool in April...would you belive it? I found it weird cause I phoned home to speak to my dad and he was talking about Spring hunting and driving to their camp...Winter mode up here and my son was in the pool swimming...LOL! Good times with good friends always remain in our hearts! The weather up here is kinda' gloomy ...it's been raining here for a couple of days now, but I'm sure the sun will come out again....apparently, it's supposed to snow but haven't seen snow at all! :) Gonna see what else I can do for this site and try to make it a lil' more interesting!
